From this October, BSM Plaça Navas, BSM Cotxeres de Sarrià and BSM Gràcia Motos car parks now have battery exchange stations.
The battery exchange stations or battery stations are modules set up in car parks that allow users of electric motorbikes to exchange their vehicle's battery for a 100% charged battery.
Exchanging batteries is very simple and the only requirement is to have downloaded the "battery station" app. Once inside the car park, simply remove the battery from the motorbike, leave it in the empty module indicated by the app and, when the battery has been correctly identified, remove the charged battery from the module with the green light and insert it into the motorbike.
This initiative will provide peace of mind and convenience to electric motorbike riders, as they will no longer need to worry about finding an available place to recharge the vehicle's battery, nor will they need to calculate the time they will need to recharge it. Just 30 seconds will be enough to exchange their battery for a 100% charged one.
Currently, the operator offering this service is Silence, part of the ACCIONA group, the world's largest renewable energy operator.
